That seems to be Tricia Levenseller’s goal, and she succeeds. For those of you who aren’t Harry Potter fans ( why not?), that means this book is a dark love story centered around two ambitious, cunning people. The most apt description I’ve seen for this book is a Slytherin Romance.
Can she stick to her villainous plan without losing her heart? THE GOOD She finds herself protecting him more and more, all the while growing closer to him. But for her plan to succeed, the Shadow King must be alive long enough to marry her. The previous king and queen were murdered, and it seems someone is out to finish the job.
It turns out Alessandra isn’t the only one trying to kill the king. If she can manage to keep the king alive, that is. Never mind that hundreds of ladies have failed to secure the attention of the king before her. Once she is queen, she’ll take all his power and lands for herself. She will woo the Shadow King, marry him, then kill him.
